Born and raised in Galway, NY, a small town tucked into the foothills of the Adirondacks. I graduated from The University of Albany with a Bachelors in Biology. I worked as a certified pharmacy technician for 5 years while attending Albany College of Pharmacy for a short time. In those years, I realized my patients were not getting better, symptoms were being masked and the root causes were not addressed. This frustration led me to natural medicine and to chiropractic.
I started Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2021 and graduated December 2024 as a Doctor of Chiropractic.
While finishing my doctorate at Palmer, I became certified in Craniosacral Therapy (CST), have completed advanced Webster training, and have pursued specialized education in breastfeeding and tongue ties, with ongoing training to further enhance my expertise.
Although I have worked with every population, I chose to specialize in primarily treating women and children. My mission as a chiropractor is to help people realize the God-given potential of their body. in working I am privileged to see this every day first hand. Everyone has the right to see their body as whole and capable.
I firmly believe that learning and gaining knowledge should be a lifelong pursuit.
When I am not working, I love spending time with my family and friends, crafting, doing puzzles, reading and taking walks with my mini golden-doodle Clark Kent.

Dr Cristina Padilla DC CACCP is the founder of Thrive Family Chiropractic.
Born and raised in Puerto Rico, a graduate from the University of Puerto Rico with a Bachelor’s in Biology, Dr Padilla completed her Chiropractic education in Seneca Falls NY at New York Chiropractic College (now Northeast College of Health Sciences) in 2014.
It was during her time in Chiropractic school that Dr Padilla found her passion and purpose for the pediatric and perinatal population and pursued her Certification in Pediatric Chiropractic (CACCP) (2021), Webster Technique (2013) and Birthfit (Coach, 2021). In 2023, to further support mothers and kids, she completed a 100-hour certification in Acupuncture.
Thrive Family Chiropractic was founded in 2017, with the goal of providing personalized care to families in NE Florida. What started as a house call/mobile practice has now evolved, over the last 7 years, into both a brick and mortar location in San Marco and house calls to mothers during pregnancy and postpartum.
As a mother herself (as of January 2025) Dr Padilla understands and focuses her practice in supporting all aspects of the motherhood journey, from preconception through the postpartum period, Thrive Family Chiropractic aims to be a safe space for families to address all aspects of health while respecting each individual’s values and wishes and supporting these decisions with the best evidence based care.
